Twana joined the Pontchartrain family in 2009 bringing with her experience in veterinary medicine that spans almost thirty years. Originally from the westbank, she moved to Lacombe in 2005, where she lives with her husband Michael, six cats and their dog Bama.

A large part of her experience includes managing a feline only practice in New Orleans for eighteen years, so if you're having feline behavior issues, she's the one to talk to.

Twana has earned many certificates of accomplishments in such areas as management of veterinary practices, nutritional counseling, as well as wildlife management and rehabilitation. She has also attended numerous educational seminars and conferences on many different topics pertaining to the veterinary industry. She is well versed on disease processes and their management, and loves to educate our clientele.

Her love of the human/animal bond and the wonders of veterinary medicine drive her to remain in the job of her dreams. Believing people are born into this profession, we think she's one of them.
